I have Orlid spice jars. Are they interchangeable with my Ortwo Lite pepper grinder?
Yes! Ortwo, Ortwo Lite, Orlid, and Orlid Lite all use the same jar shape, making them completely interchangeable for spice storage and grinding.
Can I use my Ortwo Lite to grind sea salt and rock salt?
Absolutely. The nylon housing and ceramic grinding mechanism of your Ortwo Lite are ideal for grinding all types of salt.
Why is my plastic jar cracking around the edges?
Over-tightening is the most common cause of stress fractures in Ortwo Lite jars. Unlike jars with external threads, our design uses internal threads so the jar can attach to both the Ortwo unit and lids. This can lead to over-tightening out of habit. To prevent damage, tighten only until the jar stops — without applying extra force. Also ensure there are no spice particles in the threads while tightening, as this can cause small cracks over time.

Ortwo Lite's custom ceramic grinding mechanism is made from high quality 95% alumina ceramic so it won’t rust or blunt. Its large diameter allows for a massive output of any spice with ease, even salt! Other grinders are smaller so they have a limited output, and will often rust over time when grinding salt.
